In "Momentum: Igniting Social Change in the Connected Age" Allison Fine describes how newer technologies are being used to foster social networks and support activism. The title received this year's Terry McAdam Book Award, which recognizes outstanding books in nonprofit management. The award is sponsored by the Alliance for Nonprofit Mangement and the Chronicle of Philanthropy, and is supported by a grant from the New York Community Trust and the Conrad Hilton Foundation.
