The Famous Anonymous Philanthropist

A new biography chronicles the life of Chuck Feeney, the secretive businessman who turned out to be one of world’s most generous philanthropists. The book describes how he co-founded the global retail chain, Duty Free Shoppers, and donated nearly all of his wealth to endow Atlantic Philanthropies. The fund has given $4 billion dollars in grants over the past 25 years, and currently holds another $4 billion in assets.
